I would like to nominate my mother for this award. She is a CT tech at St Luke's hospital in Duluth. She works full time directly with patients every day. My mother refuses to take a leave and abandon her post and her team even though she has COPD and emphysema. She is very high risk but has refused to let that stop her from going to work even after numerous pleas, requests, ultimatums, from her children. She's had this same dedication to the health care industry for the past 25 years.
