LA POINTE, WI (KDAL) – About a month after they moved to online virtual worship services because of rising COVID cases, St. John’s United Church of Christ on Madeline Island is resuming in-person services.
The move by the Board of Trustees takes effect on Sunday and will require that attendees wear masks and practice other safety precautions such as social distancing.
The church will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation on the island and follow guidance from health officials.
The Board of Trustees also urged all residents and visitors to get vaccinated.
