DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD) is beginning a four week project to refurbish manholes along a section of the Lakeside Interceptor pipeline.
The impacted section runs from 41st to 47th Avenues East, beneath and adjacent to the Lakewalk in Duluth.
Although the Lakewalk will remain accessible through the work, users should watch for barriers and slight detours when needed.
WLSSD Principal Engineer, Dianne Mathews, says the project is unlikely to cause much inconvenience and there will not being any sewer service interruptions during the work.
