SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – In a social media post on Monday, Superior’s 8th District City Councilor Craig Sutherland has announced his resignation.
Citing family and health issues, Sutherland’s resignation will take effect on November 30th.
Sutherland says he is proud of what the council has accomplished and was honored to be a part of it.
Saying he needs to focus on what is best for himself, “the City Council will continue to do what’s best to keep the city moving forward.”
A special election will be held in the 8th District on April 5th to fill Sutherland’s seat on the council.
