DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – As seawall and Harbor Plaza reconstruction gets underway, a portion of Harbor Drive will be closed starting Monday.
Pedestrians and bike traffic will also have to detour (see map) during the project that is expected to last about a year.
The work will repair a deteriorating seawall to accommodate ship docking and create a new public plaza with separate pedestrian and bike trails.
Funding for the project comes from a state bonding and a grant from the U-S Economic Development Authority.
