ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – Minnesota State lawmakers at midnight Sunday ended the most narrowly-divided legislative session in Minnesota history with agreement on property tax relief, a 1.2-billion-dollar bonding bill for state public works projects, a temporary compromise to reduce license tab fees and a continuing standoff over gun control.
A six-month extension of unemployment benefits for Iron Range miners also passed as part of an environment/natural resources package.

148th Fighter Wing Hangar — $3.5 million
Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center — $4.9 million
Duluth Housing and Redevelopment Authority (Union Gospel Mission) — $8.85 million
City of Duluth Water System Improvements — $4.26 million
Cloquet Forestry Center land return to the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa — $1.3 million
Duluth North Shore Sanitary District — $958,000
