ALS Fishing Tournament

- Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament
- June 4-5, 2021
- Northern Minnesota
The Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament is a fishing tournament and fundraiser. The Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament started in 1995 by family and friends of Kevin Kolquist. Kevin had been diagnosed with ALS and they wanted to do something to make a difference. The tournament has grown from that very first tournament. All proceeds from the event go to helping people with ALS and their families throughout their journey with ALS.
There are two divisions this year: Participation on Island Lake, Duluth, Minnesota or a Virtual Tournament on any lake in North America. Both divisions are a Catch, Photo, Release format. The tournament formats and rules may be subject to change depending on local, state and federal guidelines.
Registration is required for this event.

Proceeds from the Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament benefit individuals living with ALS and their families. ALS is a progressive neuro-degenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS usually strikes people between the ages of 40 – 70, but it can strike anyone at any time. Although there is no cure or treatment yet, we are committed to helping these families in need. The Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament board, anglers, volunteers and donors are united in Funding the Fight Against ALS.
