EVELETH, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department and multiple fire agencies responded to reports of a structure fire south of Eveleth on Thursday morning.
The fire in the 3200 block of the Clyde Road left the structure a total loss and spread to the wooded area around the building.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire that began as embers escaped from a burn barrel outside the residence.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds everyone about the danger of burning during this dry period when even small fires can spread easily and lead to a disaster.
