(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is back on the practice field after nursing a groin strain.
The 28-year-old returned to work yesterday, less than a week after suffering the injury.
There was no word from head coach Matt LaFleur on whether Jacobs will be among the starters who will play a series during Friday’s preseason game against the Denver Broncos.
From the head coach: Packers coach Matt LaFleur is a happy camper when it comes to tight end Tucker Kraft.
LaFleur said that he looks grat but will Kraft be kept on a pitch count?
LaFleur said that he’s not surprised that Kraft has started out hot.
As for cornerback Keisean Nixon, LaFleur talked about Nixon playing with an edge.
And, no, LaFleur said that he doesn’t have a problem with Nixon.
And enjoy seeing the starters play Friday night against Denver because you won’t be seeing them in the pre-season finale.
