(LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been charged with two misdemeanor counts for an argument with his girlfriend.
His first court appearance is scheduled for November 17th.
If convicted, he could face up to 18 months in prison.
The incident happened May 23rd at his home in Hobart.
Responding police say redness was seen on the woman’s face and neck, she had a bump on her head, and was complaining of pain.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst was asked if the Packers can sustain a suspension of Jacobs or do they need to sign or keep another running back.
Gutekunst was asked if that means they keep an extra back when the cuts are made this weekend?
Quarterback Jordan Love was asked about potentially having to spend some time without Josh Jacobs.
The final countdown: The final pre-season game for the Green Bay Packers is played tonight at Lambeau Field when they face the Arizona Cardinals and cuts are made.
Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was asked where the Packers got better from start of training camp until now.
Lineman Jacob Monk talked about his camp.
And he reacted to Packers coach Matt LaFleur saying that he (Monk) has a nasty streak on the field.
Cornerback Brandon Cisse said that in all likelihood he’ll next lineup against Justin Jefferson and the Vikings in the season opener.
He said that that is why he went to South Carolina for his final season in college, to prepare for the NFL.
