The suspension of Packers running back Josh Jacobs is over and he should provide a boost to the Packers’ anemic running game when he gets game ready.
Jacobs was asked if the 6-game suspension fair?
Did he have any concern his career may have been over?
Does he feel he has to earn back the respect of the fans and community?
Jacobs says that he’s remorseful and apologized to the team for putting them in that situation.
LaFleur prepping team for Lions: When one takes a look at NFL defensive statistics, the Detroit Lions are not terribly impressive.
Still, Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that there is plenty of things they do well.
As for dealing with crowd noise at Ford Field, LaFleur said that there is not too much other than the obvious in terms of preparing for the crowd noise at Ford Field.
The key, according to LaFleur, is getting everybody on the same page.
LaFleur also talked about what has led to the offensive line’s turnaround.
Injury list: Packers quarterback Jordan Love is listed as a limited participant in practice even though one wasn’t held Wednesday.
Wide receivers Christian Watson and Matthew Golden were also listed as limited.
Yahoo Sports reports that Watson’s situation is getting the most attention due to his injury history since he arrived in the NFL.
None of this is official yet.
Also dealing with issues are guard Aaron Banks and cornerbacks Brandon Cisse and Benjamin St-Juste.
Wide receiver Bo Melton was listed as “did not participate.”
